Journeyman star Kevin McKidd to IGN that he’s still in the running to play the golden haird Norse god in Marvel’ls Thor.
McKidd stressed that the part that he’s up for is indeed that of Thor and not a supporting role. This contradicts what McKidd told us last year when he suggested that Thor might be played by a younger actor and that he would be up for a different role instead.
I like McKidd, and loved Journeyman. I could see Kevin play Thor, and think he might be a better choice than those featured in a recent Major Spoilers Poll.

Not sure about Thor but if that’s not straight up Donald Blake Mojolnir is just another nail driver
Forget about Journeyman, Rome is all you need.
If he does get the role it will be funny that the two stars of Rome, Kevin McKidd and Ray Stevenson, both star in Marvel movies.
To be honest, although McKidd is the blonder of the two and probably the better actor, I thought after watching Rome that Ray Stevenson would make the ideal Thor. He’s both physically imposing and able to act. Not long after that, Stevenson was cast as the Punisher. I guess that’s not necessarily a barrier to him doing Thor. McKidd is a good plan b, though.
Journeyman…. best new series of last Fall, and not given its due justice. It rocked, and I still think about that series, and was hoping USA or SciFi or someone would pick it up. McKidd… good choice for Thor.
Journeyman… man I miss that show…. big time.
