Been a while since we posted info from Marvel about sold out issues.  The latest press release finds the Christos Gage and Mario Alberti X-Men/Spider-Man #1 issue gone at the distributor level, although you can probably find it at your LCS.

No plans to go back to press for a reprint, which means one of two things will happen – the company will change its mind in a few days, or it is waiting for all four issues to ship and offer them in a collected edition a month after the final issue ships.

The second issue (pictured above) arrives December 10, 2008, with that $3.99 price point everyone is trilled about.

    so does this take place during the “back in black” storyline, out of continuality, back in the day old school symbiote spidey, or something else entirelly?
