
Variety is reporting that Showtime is developing an hour long show based on the book Hero by Perry Moore. Stan Lee and Pow! Entertainment will be producing the show that follows the life a gay superhero.
Story, which focuses on an up-and-coming superhero who struggles to hide his secret identities.
Moore is writing the adaptation. At this time, there is no word on when the series will air on the network.

Cautiously optimistic about this, but please God – don’t let it be Brian Kinney/Rage. The whole comic book premiere that QAF did (“Somewhere in Gayopolis a twink is in trouble!”) made me wanna puke.
I hated Rage and how unrealistic its success was. If they stay true to the fact that being gay was just one small part of what made up the lead character they’ll I have a winner. I wanna see Chemo Chick more, to be honest…
