The light bulb finally came on. Looked at th cover of True Believers and looked again at Girl One from Top 10 and now I understand-it's OK to draw naked women as long as they're blue or green. Cool!

“Impressive art this month by some new kid named John Byrne, but it’s mostly squashed by the inking of Joe Sinnott.”

The new kid has had a bunch of stuff tossed on his plate lately, what with IRON FIST and the Dave Cockrum X-MEN revival and the random MARVEL TEAM-UP gig, so he’s had to demote to breakdowns for now on FF. Of course, Byrne’s idea of “breakdowns” is probably more fully rendered than most of John Buscema’s “full pencils” during his years with our fulsome foursome, so the Joltin’ One is certainly not going to complain about doing finishes credited as mere inks.

I know John wants to make room on his schedule to do more FF, so keep your fingers crossed, True Believers!

Boy, makes ya wonder what he might do with full pencils. Heck, I'd even read a story that was just about Galactus from him!

If I may raise a matter of interest. Does anyone have an idea how Oscorp and Stark industries compare? In DC I've seen pieces where Batman goes up against Lex Luthor and says that Wayne Enterprises is much more powerful than Lexcorp.

I have a hypothesis that Kingpin may have cloned his wife. No real evidence apart from the fact that if they can make clones it can explain why his wife is still alive. Apparently.
