In its weekly roundup of company news, DC sent Major Spoilers a couple of bullet points you might find of interest.

• The Spirit Special #1 is being rushed to press in time for a December release.  The $2.99 one-shot features four classic Will Eisner stories:  1947’s “Sign of the Octopus,” 1949’s “Black Alley,” and “Sand Saref” and “Bring in Sand Saref,” both from 1950.

• The company also announcd the Guardians of Metropolis Special #1 will arrive in stores under a different title, Adventure Comics Special Featuring the Guardian #1.

• Finally, DC is planning to go back to press on the following trade paperbacks:
