As odd as the ending was to the last Detective Comics, things get more intense in issue #849, arriving in stores next week. Once again the brilliant art by Dustin Nguyen brings the story to life, and really, who doesn’t like to see Batman breaking in to Arkham and getting medieval on the inmates. Oh, did I say too much? Yep. That just solidified them as my favorite team on a Bat-book ever, and I haven’t even read the whole issue yet (obviously).
Wow…that was amazing. God, I hope the Morrison run in the other book doesn’t undermine Dini’s ability to tell great Batman stories.
