For the last couple of years, Grant Morrison has given readers of the Batman series some really out there moments, culminating with the apparent death of Bruce Wayne at the end of Final Crisis. Now it’s time to bring things back to status quo, and the return of Bruce Wayne begins in the latest issue of Batman and Robin.

Review: A-Team – Shotgun Wedding #1

 It’s 2010, there’s no way the old A-Team of the 80s is going to keep anyone’s interest for more than a few minutes (unless someone mashes up the theme song with Star Wars and puts it on YouTube that is). Enter the new A-Team. Yes, the names are still the same, but the faces and action, are completely different.

The Stand is easily one of Stephen King’s best selling novels of all time, so it is no surprise fans are flocking to the Marvel adaptation causing the first issue of the Captain Trips story to sell out at the distributor level. Marvel has announced it will be going back to press to get more copies in the hands of readers.

If you haven’t read the first issue, be prepared for some pretty creepy imagery as Captain Trips spreads from person to person as the first hint of the apocalypse begin. If you can’t wade through a thousand page novel, I think this adaptation is going to be really good.

The reprint will arrive October 22, 2008 and will sell for $3.99.
