I've gotta go with Bean here - Shaggy has got to be one of the most iconic characters to come out of that entire generation of cartoons. Sure, there are others, but I don't believe any of them have the sort of cross generational "star" status that Shaggy had. My parents thought Shaggy was cool, I think Shaggy is cool, my little nephew even thinks Shaggy is cool (although he's only six and also thinks that his Spider-Man figure can beat the living snot out of his JLU Superman figure).
