This week, a little something different. I had originally planned this poll to be between Shaggy and Alexander Cabot III, following last week’s Josie and the Pussycats poll, but decided to take it to the next level with
THE BATTLE OF THE CASEY KASEM VOICE OVER ROLES!

Who is your favorite character Kasem voiced in animated television history?

Whoa, what about Teletran-1? Kasem also voiced the Autobot’s omniscient super computer in the Ark. Also, not to be an uber-Transformer nerd or anything, but the picture is of “Transformers: Animated” style Cliffjumper … not the traditional G1 style.
The hell? I’m the only voter for the true King Of All Cowards? Never even heard of three of these guys (the others, of course, having taken up permanent residence in Frank Caliendo’s frontal lobe).
jon – that’s the only picture of Cliffjumper I could find on short notice, and yes, you are an uber-Transformer nerd…
You’ve got to go with Shaggy. As much as I liked him as Robin, he was playing a role. With Scooby-Doo, Kasem CREATED Shaggy. That’s what we call iconic, and that is why the ever-hungry ever-cowardly Shaggy should and will win.
FYI: the vote option on the main page, on the right sidebar – doesn’t take votes.
(I figured out it was also lower down on the screen)
Scott Menville, the guy who does the voice for Robin on the Teen Titans cartoon is also the guy who does the voice for shaggy in the new Scooby-Doo cartoons.
COINCIDENCE?
probably
Rodrigo has uncovered a conspiracy that threatens to completely destroy the fabric of all of our lives……wait, no, I’m thinking of Secret Final Infinite Invasion Crisis.
I’ve gotta go with Bean here – Shaggy has got to be one of the most iconic characters to come out of that entire generation of cartoons. Sure, there are others, but I don’t believe any of them have the sort of cross generational “star” status that Shaggy had. My parents thought Shaggy was cool, I think Shaggy is cool, my little nephew even thinks Shaggy is cool (although he’s only six and also thinks that his Spider-Man figure can beat the living snot out of his JLU Superman figure).
