Mwahaha, lets just hope he can find an approprite veep.
Granny Goodness for Secretary of Education
Unfortunately, being born on Apokolips disqualifies his candidacy under Article 2 of the Constitution…
however he could probably run for Secretary General of the UN.
who’s he running against? Luthor? ;)
Hillary looks good in blue.
Too bad for Darkseid that Sarah Palin is already taken. She’d be a perfect fit.
Probably better than Obama.
Darkseid would never take Palin! She’s far too liberal for his tastes. I see him as more the Rush Limbaugh/Michael Savage type. And that’s only because Hitler isn’t available.
And no, I’m not comparing Limbaugh or Savage to Hitler.
Obama is not supposed to be that blue ;P
Thank you for destroying another oasis where politics hadn’t stained things.
@Baal,
I get what you are saying, I was an admin at a forum a while ago and people where asking for a politics topic BUT i told them if they wanted to discuss politics they could find another forum and not disturb (I used this exact word) this oasis of fun and relaxation that most people attributed the site as.
BUT
Look at the comments:
You got 3 comments making fun of Reps and 3 at Dems….but no argument or actual bash fest to be seen. To be honest this makes me like the site a tad more, and im proud of you guys for not making this a thing. :D
But Baal i totally get you, and Stephen should watch out because things like these can heat up.
Over at Scott Johnson’s site there have been harmless jokes turned into 500 comment arguments…Which cause nothing but headache for the people in the arguments who tend to be people with strong opinions that are so unlucky as to be bombarded what they might believe to be pure stupidity on a site they go to for fun and nothing else, they then write back and BOOM the oasis is ruined.
In conclusion Stephen i know this is your site (And it looks like we are on the same page politically) but pleeeaase watch out and if ya feel tempted close of comments for the topic or post your sly cleverness on a political board :)
Actually, Darkseid has a striking resemblance to McCain.
I posted the image months ago for the Major Spoilers faithful, and reposted it because this is an election year for humor purposes only… I am neither a democrat or a republican, so read into that what you will. And readers know that if things get out of hand, I’ll ban a person or close a discussion if people don’t follow proper etiquette. As for that bit behind Darksied’s hand, I believe the candidate the poster is referring to is Marlin…Bob Marlin from Persied Epsilon 10.
oh, and wait until October, when we tackle politics in comics on the Major Spoilers podcast.
And is almost as old…
@asteroid, almost he IS as old!!!
I was mostly referring to name McCain being obviously behind Darkseid’s fist (which would make a great name for a mixed drink! It could be a Kamikaze, Alabama Slamma, and a Sloe Comfortable Screw all mixed into one drink!)
its official, McCain is older than Darkseid. McCain was born in 1936, Darkseid didnt appear in comics till 1970!!!
