]]> By: Jeff http://www.majorspoilers.com/archives/6161.htm/#comment-81143 Jeff Tue, 02 Sep 2008 14:03:17 +0000 http://www.majorspoilers.com/?p=6161#comment-81143 At first I was really disappointed in the performance of the Star Trek characters in these polls, but then I realized: 1) You've been using original series characters, some of whom have been dead for several years (or, at least, their careers are). 2) Star Trek runs, if you're lucky, at 1 AM on CBS subsidiary (read: bitch) channel, The CW. 3) As a franchise, Star Trek has been unwatchable (Seven of Nine's hooters notwithstanding) since DS9 went off the air more than a decade ago! 4) All of Trek's competition is currently in the public eye, thanks (or maybe no thanks) to Star Wars: Clone Wars, Indiana Jones IV, and the Futurama revival on Comedy Central Suddenly, I feel better...
