One of my students "obtained" a copy of Maya a few years ago, and I gave him one of my Gundam model kits to model. A weekend later, and boom - it was done. Not surprising - he's now working as an animator on Transformers AND Iron Man. So when I see images like this, I believe they are real, but determination will go a long way! Ok, so maybe not ANY kid, but someone with determination will certainly be able to do it.
