I enjoyed the last book quite a bit, and the conclusion was anything but a whimper, while these books start out children's stories they are anything but by the conclusion. I remember when the last book was coming out the big question was "who dies" after reading it I thought the better question was "who lives" Through and through great stuff. I think this move may hurt the movies financial performance. I enjoyed the final book, probably because I went in knowing that it was never going to meet the over-expectations put on it.
