The Robot has no personality, other than being a flat, redesign of the family dog. Robby was in the Twilight Zone, Wonder Woman, and the Banana Splits that computes to awesome. To paraphrase Sam Jackson,"Personality goes a long way." (please add mother-fuckers and exclamation points as needed). There was an episode of Lost in Space where the two actually did throw down. If memory serves, Robby had outclassed B-9 and was expected to mop up the floor but with the guile and aid of Will Robinson, B-9 prevailed. Does anyone else have a better memory of that episode? My girlfriend will often watch Suzy Orman while I'm on the internet and I overheard a call-in viewer on the "Can I Afford It?" segment asking if Suzy thought he could afford a life-size Robby the Robot. I think it was like $7000.00. She said "no." My girlfriend didn't understand why I thought that was too bad for the guy. Ah well. Robby FTW.
