Considering our dollars are edging equal at the moment, this is quite a hike as it is. When you pay $3.99 for a monthly, we pay $6.00. That's just the newstand price, which comes out probably a month or two after you guys get it. To buy the LCS version which is just days after yours, there's a further increase of 50c to $1.00 on the price, to cover the advanced freight. SO... ... with an increase to $4.99 in the US, we in OZ will be paying up to $8.50 for your average monthly title. Comics are not really an option for children anymore, due to price, and if you buy 3 titles a month (which isn't much, is it?) and round it up, because there is always an annual or milestone issue; you can be spending around $310 a year; just for 3 titles.
