Official Transformers Logo Unveiled
--by Stephen Schleicher
The complete name and the logo for next installment of the Michael Bay robots in disguise flick is now up on the official site.

Looks pretty cool, I know I’ll go just to see Megan Fox.

Yay!

Wonder who the fallen are? I’m all for this and I’m definitely all for Megan Fox…never has a last name been more fitting. I’m also psyched that they’re getting this movie out relatively quickly. I’m over this 3 and 4 year gaps between sequels. Speaking of which, anybody besides me think that Shia Lebouf would make a pretty decent Peter Parker?

Shia Lebouf as Peter Parker: God no. It’s not out of any real hatred for the guy…I actually think he’d be decent in other roles and he didn’t drag me out of Transformers (but then the movie was f***ing terrible as anything but an FX reel.)
Spider-Man’s smartass attitude needs to flow naturally and actually be funny. Even Tobey had a little comic timing. Shia’s “snappy banter” from Indy 4 was pretty awful, and when Spielberg’s directing you, that’s on the actor.

Um. As Resident Transformers Uber Geek. I cannot wait. Sure the first TF was full of inane plot developments and needless humans (like the Australian hacker chick), but you know what it did have 40ft. robots beating the shit out of each other! Oh and a kickin score by Stephen Jablowsky. And Megan Fox. That scene where she lifts up Bumblebee’s hood is fantastic ….
@Mark I.
Don’t hate. Because you know you’ll end up in line for that midnight show.

Hey, I never said I didn’t like FX reels. If they double the robot throwdowns, all the better…and they have NO REASON to skimp on it this time because Michael Bay doesn’t t need to wank off with a Witwicky family history and the pretense that these “mysterious” vehicles may be, you know, more than meets the eye, wink wink. We know they’re robots–show them!
However, my midnight showing days are winding down…I didn’t even see Dark Knight until Saturday afternoon! I’m OLD! (Cue Wilhelm scream.)

mark i please never ever mention shia as peter parker again. he should stick to disney tv shows. but i cant wait for this to come, megan fox being the number 2 reason. the number one 40ft giants kickin each others asses!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why am I feeling the need to defend shia’s honor??? LOL. It was just a thought. But after watching Suburbia again, I could kind of dig it…

I saw Transformers twice before midnight the day it was released. I’ll aim to see TF2 at least 3 times. I am but a slave to the teets of His Bayness.
