Yahoo!Movies Lands Official Spirit Trailer

If you didn’t see the illegal Spirit Trailer that floated around the interwebnets yesterday, you are in luck as you can see the trailer in its official form over at Yahoo!Movies. I’m still not sure the movie is going to be the super hit Sin City and 300 were. It does have some lovely ladies, and I do like the Sand Seref stories that Will Eisner wrote, and Frank Miller has capture the noir look, but I’m not sure I’m digging on the look of the film just yet.

I’ve never really liked Frank Miller’s work. It’s all postering bravado and no substance. Sin City, both the comics and the movie, were all meaningless drivel. 300 was pretty but not much else. And the ONLY Daredevil comic book he did well was Elektra Lives Again.
The Spirit looks like more postering crap and a very poorly constructed plot. I’m certain it will pale in comparison to the superb Batman: The Dark Knight Movie. See it in IMAX if you can.

Eisners spining has been upgraded from tropical storm to hurricane magnitude…And hes heading for the coast!!!
