When we discussed Wanted in the last Major Spoilers Podcast, we speculated how far the film would deviate from the original series. While there are still some things that will be very different, there are a great number of things that are taken directly from the page.
Empire Online has a quick featurette on its site that compares the book and the movie.

Looks badass, BUT WHY?!?! do they have to pretend its a comic adaptation it looks nothing like it. Sure it might be a kickass action movie, but really what? Are they getting a better budget because comic movies are doing well or did they just start out with the comic get drunk and wake-up with a script which they decided to do because their hangover didn’t allow for them to make a new one. THIS IS NOT AN ADAPTION no matter what Miller is telling himself to sleep better at night. Still though i can just pretend it has nothing to do with the comic and enjoy it…which i think i will :).
although it’s still not feel like an adaptation of the comic book, it look like a lot of fun. i’m not a fan of the ‘curving-the-bullet’ thing, and hope it’s not overused (3 times in the featurette, COME ON).
gonna have to wait and see it
