Okay, so TV Guide isn’t calling her the Flash, but the site is claiming Brea Grant (last seen on Friday Night Lights) will be speeding her way to the third season of Heroes as “The Speedster”.
I doubt that will be the name used on the show (the part has her listed as Joy), but as the heroes move toward an organized group, having a speedster on the team is a smart move. Plus for the slobbering fan boys, she is a girl.

I really liked Heroes, and I realize there are in all actuality only about twenty comic book archetypes/cliches that have been constantly recycled over the last 50 years, but I really started to tire of the wholesale ripoffs of classic comics about midway through last season when I realized that I liked Vandal Savage better as Vandal Savage than as a blonde British samurai.
I hope they can move in a fresher direction this season as I still haven’t given up hope…perhaps the strike affected the writing more than anyone will admit. It’s going to be tough to find a new angle for a TV speedster considering there was a whole Flash series and Bart Allen was on Smallville.
As long as Noah Bennett and Bob Bishop remain as “Nerdy Nick Fury” and “Even Nerdier Max Lord,” Parkman continues to represent chubby action heroes, and we get a little more Kirsten Bell/Dana Davis eye candy, I’m game.
And nothing wrong with some more Takei flashbacks either.
I demand Sylar dealing out some serious damage in the new season, that is all.
And considering the “volume” is called villains and he got his powers back… I’m game!
Never disliked season 2 as most people seem to have.
She’s cute…. I hope we get that third season quick. And Mark, LOL at Nerd Nick Fury and Even Nerdier Max Lord!!!
Not Joy, she is set to be Daphne
