Review: Dr. Horrible

From the moment Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog hit the intardwebz, fans of musical comedies, with a superhero hook have been in seventh heaven. While there have been a couple of attempts to tell a Dr. Horrible origin story, the official take on the villain’s past can only be found in the pages of Dr. Horrible #1 from Dark Horse Comics.

First Pics of Watchmen Figures Hit Net

EW.com has the first images of the Watchmen action figures based on the upcoming Zack Snyder movie from Warner Bros.

The figures look spectacular, I just hope they are truly action figures instead of nicely molded pieces of plastic that end up as inexpensive maquettes for those who can’t afford the real deal.

If you happen to be in New York and are attending the New York Comic Con, DC Direct will unveil the first four prototypes on Friday, April 18.

BTW: Both figures will arrive in stores in January 2009 with a price tag of $14.99.

“Watchmen” action figures are a bit creepy. They should have a little “by Veidt” on them.

Awesome figures. The Veidt logo WOULD be great, on the left sole or something. Since Rorschach’s my favorite character, I’d like to see him with his grappling hook gun and a little thine gel-sack face thing so the pattern changed.
