At least this explains his absence.

I trust you David Hasselskrull!
This Greg Horn guy really needs to learn how to draw teeth.
Because I’m sure the skrulls have a great dental plan.
I’m more astonished at the implied return of the cigar smoking!
Skrull’s.. immune to cancer… still can’t get straight teeth!
I really like this one
Did this Skrull actually lose an eye at some point, too, or is that patch just for show?
Because I’m sure the skrulls have a great dental plan.
Dude. They’re shape-shifters. Even if they don’t have a good dental plan, if they can change their appearance to that of anyone or any cow, they should be able to straighten their own teeth …
no way, skrull pride man, just cause earthlings feel teeth should be straight (and you can make them straight with a thought) doesn’t mean you should do it, wear your gnarl-toothed, chin-ridged, pointy-eared, buggy-eyed face with pride!
I cannot accept Fury as a Skrull! But I still like it.
Dude. They’re shape-shifters. Even if they don’t have a good dental plan, if they can change their appearance to that of anyone or any cow, they should be able to straighten their own teeth …
Touche, salesman…
Apparently, Skrull Nick Fury is missing an ear, too.
