Dark Horse Comics, the publisher of Buffy’s comic strip, estimates that since the comic’s inception in March 2007, more than 1 million issues have been sold, approximately 120,000 each month.

For some reason I expect that number to climb.

Did I post this image to raise a ruckus over Buffy potentially being gay? You Bet.

Link-bait reasons aside, this one panel sums up everything that may or may not have happened just beautifully. From the art, to the color scheme, to the positioning of the bodies, to the one word reaction to the event, this is a panel that I feel is one of those top notch examples of storytelling.
