Stuntman Mike Gets Action Figure

NECA has released a couple of image of Kurt Russell’s Stuntman Mike action figure based on the character from the Grindhouse film.
A long-awaited fan favorite, Kurt Russell’s scarred serial killer makes his debut this summer. We’ll be debuting accessories and packaging later this spring.
I’d still rather have Kurt Russell from Big Trouble in Little China.

really? Stuntman Mike? I mean, was the character even that cool?
you should get it if for some reason you want:
a) a Kurt Russell action figure
b) a creepy action figure
and/or
c) to give Quentin Tarantino a bigger head

Stephen, a couple of years back a company called N2 Toys put out a line of Big Trouble In Little China figures. I happen to have both Jack Burton and Wang Chi, the company went bankrupt shortly thereafter. It is the prize of my collection.

You know, in theory, if you really, really wanted a Kurt Russell from Big Trouble in Little China, you could get the Kurt Russell from Grindhouse and repaint him.
I mean, sure, it’d always bother you that in he’s wearing a t-shirt instead of a wife-beater, but at some point you’re going to have to take what you can get.
( Or, you know, you could just go to eBay and look for those figures doubledumbassonyou mentioned … )
