Nice choice of panel here, Stephen. I especially like that freaked out guy on the bottom left corner
Got to go with invulnerability.
Reasons?
Well, imagine you’re flying. Your enjoying the thrill known only to birds and a few well placed turtles (long story), when suddenly, you HIT A AIRLINER AND FALL TO THE GROUND THOUSANDS OF FEET. You go splat, no more flying.
Super Speed? Pretty much the same. One well place banana peel and that’s all she wrote.
And the Super Strength? Well, picture if you will a drunk super strong guy trying to impress the girls at the local bar. He goes to lift up their little VW Beetle, overcompensates, falls backward and suddenly has a muffler through the head. Now, not only where you “that really strong guy”, but you’re also known as “the dork that died trying to pick up the girly car.”
Yeah, give me Invulnerability. As long as it included my internal organs a well. I’d hate to end up like Luke Cage in Secret War.
Invulnerability is really the glue that holds the package together.
Stacy makes some good points. I would still prefer super speed! I probably wouldn’t put it to it’s obvious uses though. I’d probably use it to get things done faster, as there never seems to be enough time in the day.
Sadly, the poll did not include the greatest super-power of them all…Matter-Eating.
Has to be invulnerability. With invulnerability you can probably fake the rest with any number of exoskeletons that exist in the comic book multiverse. Rocket suit, ala Rocket Man, isn’t a big deal if your invulnerable. Human Bullet from the Tick also comes to mind. “Fire Me Boy!”
