This was just another example of Brian K. Vaughn being a great writer. I strongly suggest if you like this series, read the original book that inspired this series. THE AMAZING ADVENTURES OF CAVALIER AND KLAY by Michael Chabon was essentially a "prequel" to this series. It tells the story of the two guys who created the Escapist character during the golden age of comics, and there is a lot of allusion to the business practices at the time. Having read this series, I got to say it is another one of those unique ones that needs to be read. This was just another example of Brian K. Vaughn being a great writer.
