Yes, there are only 28 shopping days left until you are expected for fork over a gift to someone you A) hardly know, B) really don’t care about, or C) they’re family, so what are you gonna do?  If there is a comic book or pop culture lover on your holiday shopping list, we’re here to give you some gift giving ideas as the big Holiday Exchange Day draws near.

Today’s installment is the Comic Wallet by Albert Doan, of Calgary, Canada.  Albert takes comic book pages and turns them into a pretty nifty wallet.

Each wallet is made from a single page of an early eighties comic book. The paper is laminated and reinforced to provide strength and durability. Be ready for people to take notice of it every time you pull it out of your pocket. Get your own for as little as $30 USD plus SH.

It’s a good thing the pages are from 80’s comics and not those from the 90’s as you’d end up putting $20 into the wallet thinking it will be worth more later, only to discover 25-cents in change when you open it later.  Of course if you don’t want to spend $30+ on Albert’s design, you could always make one yourself by following these directions.
