Loved the fight with Hawkman. As for why he gave the powers to Mary, Shadowpact shared my sentiment this week in Countdown stating that Mary is using Adams powers in a way never before used by him. I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much, but I think it might have been Eclipso in disguise or some other magic user that gave her the powers. Probably not, but a Black Adam fan can dream can't he? Black Adam is surprisingly one of the best books coming out of DC. Loved the fight with Hawkman.

Yet, try as he may, Adam will fail(thanks, Countdown). My predictions: something will happen to interupt Isis's resurrection. Maybe Faust will betray him in some form, or Isis may be resurrected and choose not to love Adam. Great art by Mahnke, though. I miss him on Stormwatch PHD. In his quest to save his Isis B.A. will do anything and everything. Awesome fights will ensue, but in the end he'll realize that even will all his power he can't bring Isis back :( Que depression, enter Mary Marvel, and the Black Mary storyline goes on it's merry way.
