In a series that kills off its title character before the first issue
is released, readers should expect the unexpected from ABYSS. The
comedy issue that parodies many of the conventions of costumed hero
comics was originally solicited and promoted with a cover featuring
the tattered cape of hated super-villain, ABYSS, on his deathbed, with
helpless figures standing in the street shadows.
The debut title from Red 5 Comics, Atomic Robo #1 arrives this week.
