I was, like everybody else, bummed out that they killed Ted Kord in Countdown to Infinite Crisis, especially because they finally made me care about him in the same issue. That said, I'm with this one for the long haul. Fill ins are fine, if not optimal, and I'm just praying enough people are reading the book to keep it afloat. I'd hate Jamie Reyes to become another expendable hero to be killed off in the next big crossover. Man, I love the new Blue Beetle series. Is it just DC putting a new guy in for an issue or did the creative team fall behind and request a fill-in be done? Seems really odd as there's been no problems before this and I've never heard anything related to it.
