Mac is getting a lot of punishment as the Venom. He's been shot in the face at point blank range, fell several stories, and now he's had his Venom tongue ripped off. Even if it does grow back I don't think that makes it hurt any less. I thought the purpose of the wings on Namor’s feet were to help him swim and fly faster.

Eh, Venom's tounge will most likely grow back making that a gore/shock moment...now I thought those were "vestigal wings" on Namor, according to Wikipedia, meaning they had no purpose. Apparently, the wings must have some purpose now. Also, was there ever a review of issues #2, #3?
