Oni Press Gets Unwelcome Visitor

Leave it to the small guys to bring the exciting news. While the folks at Oni were busy working on their latest stuff, a truck ran through their front window.
We heard the initial impact in the street and everyone got up to see. I think the consensus was, “uppp…. we got ourselves another one.” I’m glad we got up because just then, our wall got hit and glass flew everywhere. James, our editor-in-chief was about a foot away from where the truck hit.
Everyone is okay, and it sure makes for a good story.

Hopefully that truck was delivering the new Barry Ween miniseries we were promised 4 years ago. I could understand the drivers need to hurry if that were the case….(oh, and glad no one was hurt etc.)

The gentleman with the impressive beard seems unalarmed by the truck smashing through his window. Was this picture taken after? Because that guy is just sitting there working as though this is a regular thing.

Weak. Last year, my old LCS had a van go right through the front window, mowing down several display case, crushing rows and rows of longboxes before busting a water main and flooding the store.
Now THAT is a good story…
