I've been a DC guy for years, but When the Donner Arc mysteriously dissappeared due to artist time-line crunch and WWH came out, for the first time in my life I traded in my DC pull list for an all marvel one, I see stories like this and It pains me but I don't regret the decision. I love Superman and many of the other DC titles, the only one that seems worth a darn right now is the GL/Sinestro Wars.

Stacy brings up a good point . If you are budgeting for a $15.00 week in March , you probably can't afford that $45.00 catch-up week in July. It is unfair. Also, I remember some fill-in issues as being great stories. No harm in that.

I agree with Pat. The core titles should never be more than a week late, if that. If it means publishing stock stories (which use to be the norm) then do it. Don't just push the schedule up, but actually publish a real fill-in. If superstar artist or writer X can' work on more than one title, sorry, but they should only be on one title. Maybe if they opened their stable of writers up a little more...

That said, I am a DC fanboy. I love DC. But to make people wait months for the end of a blockbuster story line... (Heinberg and Woman Woman. Lost me and my wife on that fiasco). It also can screw with those of use who have to squeeze the comics into our little budgets.

Maybe all this stuff has to hit the beats to prepare for Final Crisis, but dang....

Look,There are some titles that should never have schedule difficulties...never.Superman,Action, Batman, Detective and JLA should be in stores the same week every month with contents that relate to the previous months unless it is the stsrat of a new story. DC ( and Marvel) must have arcs ready to go if there is a delivery problem from "superstars." Now several of these problems have been cuased by creators illness and there is nothing that you can do about that. But if a guy is writing/drawing 3 books and is constantly late, then only give him 2 books. Easy.
