I love Superman and many of the other DC titles, the only one that seems worth a darn right now is the GL/Sinestro Wars. If you are budgeting for a $15.00 week in March , you probably can't afford that $45.00 catch-up week in July. It is unfair. The core titles should never be more than a week late, if that. If it means publishing stock stories (which use to be the norm) then do it. Don't just push the schedule up, but actually publish a real fill-in. If superstar artist or writer X can' work on more than one title, sorry, but they should only be on one title. DC ( and Marvel) must have arcs ready to go if there is a delivery problem from "superstars." Now several of these problems have been cuased by creators illness and there is nothing that you can do about that.But if a guy is writing/drawing 3 books and is constantly late, then only give him 2 books. Easy.
