Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

If you were one of the few that still watch MTV (seriously, don’t admit that you still watch MTV), you may have seen Shia LaBeouf make an announcement during the VMAs about the title of the next Indiana Jones movie.
You don’t need me to tell you a third time, right?
LaBeouf, who stars in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull with Harrison Ford, Cate Blanchett, Karen Allen, Ray Winstone and John Hurt, announced the title during today’s MTV Video Music Awards, which were broadcast live from Las Vegas. Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is a Lucasfilm Ltd. and is being distributed by Paramount Pictures. It will be released in the U.S. and simultaneously in most territories worldwide on Thursday, May 22, 2008. Frank Marshall returns as producer, with Kathleen Kennedy joining George Lucas as executive producer.
Could the crystal skull be an alien skull found in Mayan or Aztec pyramids?

I don’t know…seems a bit campy to me, but I’ll go along with it for now until the REAL title is announced.
Also, nice mock up of the new titles…the missing “-s” at the end of “Skulls” makes it so authentic-looking! :P

Wait…I guess I was comparing it to the title of the post, which states “Skulls.” Did Lebeouf say “Skull” or “Skulls?” Must…know!!!

It is skull according to the official website. I must have been typing too fast ;) I really wanted to title it Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skrulls in which Indiana Jones discovers George Lucas was taken over years ago by the Skrull empire.

Dude ALL the Indy flicks are based off schlock pulp novel stuff. They are SUPPOSED to be campy and full of one liners, etc.
