For some reason, this Gwen/Peter couple irks me. Part of it is the unceremonious way you’re introduced to it, but I can’t put my finger on the other part. It’s either the pedestal that the 616 version seems to be put on, or the ghostly fanboy voice I hear saying “As it should be…”.
