Does anyone else wonder if the reference to the use of a Tailgunner, which the new Castellan uses a couple of times, is in anyway a reference to the idea of TAILGUNNER JO? Remember the mini from ‘88-’89?

I actually had intended to mention that during the review, but it slipped my mind during the actual creative process... Good catch!

I keep trying to drop Checkmate and they are making it god damn impossible. First Rucks and Winick craft a crossover that enhances the strengths of both writers and then two fantastic issues in a row. If it doesn't slip back into theindecipherable cast of millions thing that had me wanting to drop it in the first place, I guess I'm here until cancellation.
