Oh I’m so in with this collection!
I understand why, for legal reasons, they can’t call Captain Marvel by his real name on the outside of any sort of packaging, but “Mary Batson?”
WTF?! Or did Marvel Entertainment grab the rights to “Mary Marvel” while TimeWa…rner was asleep at the switch, too?
Anyway, these will be mine. Oh, yes! They WILL be mine…!
Too bad the legal wrangling and the wording on the packaging perpetuate the popular misnomer that Billy Batson’s alter ego is Shazam, which is the the Wizard’s name…before the Trials of Shazam, that is.
So, Big Red Cheese + short hair = Capt. Marvel, and Big White Cheese + long flowing hair = Fabio, er, I mean the new “Shazam”.
Wait, that’s more confusing than the packaging issues.
Wow — I know I complain a lot about the D-cupification of super-heroines, but now the men’s chests are getting pumped up to ridiculous proportions. (Yes, I know it’s stylized–but why does this style inflate the upper body so much?)
Well, at least both genders are getting serious chestage….
They all look great except Black Adam. Ugh, he looks horrible.
