NBC has announced it has acquired the rights to DC Comics’ Vertigo imprint “Midnight, Mass.” series to turn it into a television series.  Gretchen Berg and Aaron Harberts will write the series.

“Midnight,” which has received a script commitment with penalty from the network, revolves around Adam and Julia Kadmons, a sophisticated, sexy, globe-trotting husband-and-wife team who solve mysteries and crimes of the supernatural.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, this series has been heavily sought after for years to be turned into a television series.

  • This is one of those series that always sticks out in my mind as a book that was left by the way side. The concept was fairly fresh and the art was all compelling. It has a lot of potential but I fear it may turn into just another “supernatural” show if not done right.

I wonder if this has anything to do with nbc Loosing the bidding war over the walking dead tv series
