I'm just wondering what kind of an ego trip Tony is on that makes him think he can take on Thor by himself. At least when he confronted Nova he had the S.H.I.E.L.D. army behind him despite the fact that if Stark was defeated (which he most certainly would have been) they wouldn't stand a chance.

Also, is it me or does Thor look like a '70s throwback disco ball with that chain mail? I think I'd have left the mail for Cap/ US Agent...

Thank god for small favors! hopefully he'll turn Tony into Spam in a can...if only he'd(logically) showed up to end the whole civil war nonsense and crushed Sentry's skull, instead of that ridiculous clone(can't believe they even WENT down that road again when I read it; given the LAST clone menagerie)...but Marvel-come-lately's editorial staff preferred to turn the entire 616 into the doom and gloom X-Men ala Millar/Bendis...

Not to stray too far off topic, but I always questioned the inclusion of Sentry in the Marvel Universe when it's clear that if anyone should be Marvel's "Superman," it's Thor. But the thunder god's handling has been so up and down over the years that it seems impossible to pin this kind of status on him for more than a couple of years at a time. The fact that Asgard now hovers over 616's American midwest should "up" Thor's status to that of surrogate world leader...kind of like Supreme or the Kingdom Come version of Green Lantern.

But it probably won't.
