Couldn't they just make Deano Casino into, say...Superman of Earth 2? An Earth-2 element to Smallville could be awesome. How about this episode idea: Clark wakes up after some science experiment blows up in his face and wakes up to see a live Jonathan Kent...except it's the 1950's, Lex Luthor has a full head of hair, his dog has super-powers, Lana Lang is a redheaded white girl, and there's a strange blue costume hanging in his closet...
