Oh yeah, there are pictures and accounts of Hong at the show standing up and referring to himself as Lo Pan and doing magical hand gestures from Big Trouble. Good stuff.
Maybe you were thinking of Victor Wong, who played Egg Shen? He died about 5 years ago. With him and Mako gone, only Lo Pan remains living amongst the great sorcerors of the East…but that is as it should be, for Lo Pan is immortal!!!!
Mark, I too saw the hand gestures in question. I had no love for Balls of Fury until I saw that, and the fact that Patton Oswalt also has a bit part. I hope that someday BTiLC will get the love it so rightfully deserves.
