The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are getting a movie franchise relaunch, and producers have hired John Fusco to write the script. The live action movie does not have a director, cast, or studio attached to the project just yet, but Lightbox Prod. 4Kids Entertainment is handling all the licensing for the turtles.
The movie is expected to hit theaters sometime in 2011.

So I guess this means we’re not getting a sequeal to the CG film released a few years ago?
@Victoria: I think so. Shame too. I would have like have seen a sequel.
So we’re going to see Shedder vs Turtles for the 15th time?
noooooooooooooooooooooooooo, there goes my child hood being destroyed once again. Secrets of the Ooze was awesome!!! Vanilla Ice was nasty(in a good way)in that movie.
@MaximusRift: That’s too bad; I really enjoyed the CG film. As far as the live action movies go I think the first one kicked major ass. The second one was a little too kid friendly and I want to vomit everytime I see Vanilla Ice. The third movie was flat out awful.
@MaximusRift
no we won’t see shredder again. rumors are that we will see baxter stockman/the fly. but still these are just rumors. they are also talking about keeping it true to the original eastman/laird comics of the old days. a pg 18 TMNT movie would be awesome, true to the comics, they were kinda bloody at the beginning.
