For some reason, Dungeons and Dragons has been on my mind a lot lately. And whenever I think of Dungeons and Dragons, I eventually start thinking about the D&D cartoon series from 1983. Which of course lead me to searching around the Deviant Art website to look for a piece that struck my fancy.
My fancy has been struck in this piece from Dave Perillo.
“Fear not…Ranger, Barbarian, Magician, Thief, Cavalier & Acrobat…I am Dugeon Master your guide in the realm of Dungeons & Dragons!”
This was one of my favorite shows growing up & i recently got the DVD set which inspired me to do this piece.
I may just have to get this on DVD too. Oh, and those that might be wondering why I said D&D has been on my mind lately, might want to subscribe to the Major Spoilers Twitter feed where I let it “slip” yesterday evening.

Get it on DVD – it’s one of the best cartoon series ever. They were downright ingenious with getting around the networks’ “the complainer is always wrong” story edict – they fought back with actual characterization.
That said, I love this piece.
Dungeons & Dragons was the best 80’s cartoon.
