Brian Michael Bendis posted on Twitter yesterday that Powers will return in November under the Icon banner. Bendis says the series will be monthly – let’s hope he’s right.
Funny thing, that Twitter – everyone’s on it, including Major Spoilers.

meh, i stopped caring a long time ago. i love the series, don’t get me wrong. i just got tired of waiting on his lazy ass while he’s out doing some piece of crap with the avengers team.
I wont say that Bendis is lazy but I’m sure Marvel pays him more for those Avengers books then they do those Powers books. Oeming was doing some other stuff too and currently has Rapture coming out.
I buy this in trade though and its good but like Herm, I dont care really. I buy it when I have extra money and I havent had that since the 90’s
I figger that this book is much like Astro City for Kurt Busiek. It takes more time, energy, and care to develop the offbeat stories that the book needs.
I used to love Powers, and found the last arc to be a return to things that made me enjoy it. I’m looking forward to it’s return…
This is totally irrelevant, but I’m feeling snarky…. Wynter don’t Tweet, so tell me… What was for lunch today, Stephen? :-D
Wyntermute: That is only for the Twitteratti to know…
But, since I am your benevolent Major Spoilers Leader – it was a veggie sub from Mr. Goodcents.
I honestly thought you were gonna stonewall me on that one!!! You _ARE_ benevolent. And a natty dresser, from what the ladies say! I hope that sub was sub-stantially better than sub-par! :D (Sorry. It has been a silly day.)
