I like everyone but fred, He needs blond hair, I think some of his style things might be part of the plot. DtV is a problem for but we will see how it goes. I am liking that velma is asian, however I fell that daphine and shaggy look a little to old. also does this movie basically ignore a pup named scooby doo

The only people that look right for this movie are Velma and Scooby… I mean really… Shaggy’s face isn’t long enough and Fred looks like a douche…he also doesn’t have blonde hair.

I think all of these picks are wrong. Lets start with Daphne. Her hair ends at her shoulder and is not as busty or has hips like her. Fred, has BLONDE hair! Velma looks like a man and Scooby (although not featured here) has a uni-brow. The only partially normal one is Shaggy. But i’m very disappointed in the casting choices. It like they picked whoever walked in the door! I also believe you guys agree with me on all or some of these points.

I’ve seen the trailer before this pic and I was hopeful that finally there was a good remake of a film that is around the same age as the characters. I didn’t realised the guy in the dark hair is playing as Fred, though. I seen the main trailer. And I was dissapointed by the cheap animation made to create scooby Doo. Go and see the trailer, then you’ll understand how cheesy it is.

I thought the 2nd live action movie was better than the first.
It had better monsters and more” original monsters” even tho some were from the Scooby-Doo show which aired later.
The second one kinda goes over
” the never-before-told tale of how the Mystery Inc. crew originally came together”
There’s also an animated movie that does the same. Darn it, can’t remember which one.
I own everything that is Scoobs related but i’m not sure I’ll buy this, at least judging from the release info, 2 photos and the special features.

You people give me a stomach ache. Lighten up! Its meant to be a light hearted and fun kids movie. Projecting your bias and preconceptions on this is ridiculous. Get over yourselves! There is absolutely nothing here to criticize at this point. At least wait to see the movie before you make your asinine judgements.

All of the actors just don’t really vibe with me to play the characters. Honestly, Velma seems the best out of them despite her tranny-like looks. Daphne looks frumpier than Velma… and that’s just not right. I agree with Brent that Fred’s just not right without blonde hair and a bad vibe. I guess that’s what they get with a bunch of teenage actors.

The most important thing about this is that it’s not based on the cartoon.

It’s based on the movie that is based on the cartoon. The d-bag playing Fred is a ringer for Mr. Sarah Michell Gellar.

Zoinks!

I think the other Scooby Doo movies didn’t work because they used way too many well known personalities to play the parts. They brought too much baggage to the parts to try and recreate the characters. Not to mention the horrible premise and story for the 2nd movie.

These new people look decent enough. Just have to see them in action see whether it’s worth a viewing at the theatres. But so far I’m getting a “Direct-to-Video” vibe from this picture.
