While there have been a couple of attempts to tell a Dr. Horrible origin story, the official take on the villain’s past can only be found in the pages of Dr. Horrible #1 from Dark Horse Comics.

Continuing on this week’s magic theme, brings us to none other than the sorcerer supreme himself, Doctor Strange. And who better to whip up an image for the Art Appreciation Moment of the Day than Daniel Campos.

I know you guys aren’t used to hearing this but I’m particularly proud of my inking on this piece. I don’t know why it just flowed alot easier than my usual struggles with the pens and ink. Of course I’ll probably hate it the next time I see it but for now I’m going to bask in the glow as long as it lasts.

Drawn on 11″x17″ Board with an F Lead, Microns .01 to .08, and a brushpen. Used an old Kevin Nowlen Strange Tales cover for ref so if his outfit doesn’t look like it does in the current books go read some back issues and learn ya something.

And I like it!
