Post-resurrection dump taking?
Uh oh. He’s got no pupils. Given that Cap doesn’t wear eye protection, that clearly means he’s a zombie.
(Or that Joey Q is as bad at art continuity as he is with regular continuity.)
When you’ve been dead for so long, I can only imagine how backed up you must get. I post-resurrection dump seems to be in order.
Not another one of those gross Herogasm covers . . . oh wait.
@Josh
Ever seen “Miss March” (The movie) ….Coma…Atrophy…chok.. Baaaaad results.
So, how does everyone really think he’ll be brought back? Clone, magic, time displacement? Superboy punching reality?
Sharon Carter makes a deal with Mephisto. Worked last time.
Not to sound racist but I’m just happy it’s not the black cap like alot of people rumored it was going to be. With Will Smith being announced shortly after the 1st issue hit as playing cap in the movie.
@Matt
I agree…i just dont see him playing Cap….I would love to see him as Pym or Iro…oh right.
If they did do a Black Cap i vote Denzel Washington. Nothing wrong with race or gender swaps but ya gotta get the right actors anyway. Also you dont get more American than “Washington”.
For the return I’m going with either a clone or cap from a previews time frame, last we saw Skull he was getting something or someone out of the time stream with one of Doom’s time window. At first I thought it was a copy of his own body(he was sharing a body at the time), but it could have been Cap’s.
Here’s a funny thought what if his soul or spirit is put in fifties cap’s body?
Guys, be quiet. He’s taking a Cap.
looks like marvel is getting the hype machine rolling…

Owners must curb their Captains!
LOL @ George
That’s just what I was thinking!
Bwahahaha!
Think about what all has happened since Cap “died”. Not only has Dark Reign drawn a lot of villains out of hiding, the revelation of the Skrulls as well. With Cap gone many of baddies have been acting like they all ate their spinach and the world has become a darker place for it. Realizing the true casualty in Civil War was America’s trust in the Superhero, Tony might have seen the light, snapped out of his hubris, and realized there was only one way to fix all of it. I am going to go with the “Tony and I staged this whole dying thing to bring out the real villains in the world” theory.
It’s classic, and if you don’t pull it off too much it doesn’t seem cheap. Too many comics have had supernatural or super science pull them back from the brink. Why couldn’t it be a good old fashioned bluff/switcheroo?
What’s with all the wrinkles?
