Wow, really? 4.5 out of 5 stars? I'm not so sure. The artwork makes it difficult to differentiate all the characters that have been added to the story. Watson and Lestrade look so much alike that it's hard to tell who is who, and so do other minor characters such as the head inspector and other English dignitaries. The story seems to really go nowhere in this issue and I'm not so sure that there's much of a mystery when it's obvious that Holmes is being framed by corrupt officials. I had hoped to add this title to my regular pull list but in the days of inflating comic book prices, I'm not sure that this book is worth the price. I'm thinking 2 - 2.5 stars is a more realistic rating for this issue.

This is book is quite good. I like the way they've managed to put Holmes in a situation where even his intellect won't be enough to escape. Watson's attempts to "be the man" are touching and a little bit funny all at once.
