I don't remember any vampires. I remember fallen angels, a plague/curse and a badass art style. It's a religious zombie western who got no free breaks and no happy endings. I really hope the artist/author has some sway in preventing this from becoming a trashy vampire. Though, in a feature film, you can't NOT have a happy ending. I wonder how they'll change the story to allow things to end well. Perhaps the *modern* discovery of the diary will prevent their re-enactment. Uh, vampires? I don’t remember any vampires.
