Review: Dr. Horrible

From the moment Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog hit the intardwebz, fans of musical comedies, with a superhero hook have been in seventh heaven. While there have been a couple of attempts to tell a Dr. Horrible origin story, the official take on the villain’s past can only be found in the pages of Dr. Horrible #1 from Dark Horse Comics.

Review: Nola #1

Scorned and left for dead by the man she thought she loved, Nola Thomas returns to the flooded city of New Orleans a different woman than she was prior to the onslaught of Hurricane Katrina. What sequence of events could change a beautiful woman looking for love to a scarred woman looking for revenge?

Things we learned during the week of June 1st 2009

Another busy week at Major Spoilers HQ, but the weekend, did give us a chance to reflect on the things that came to pass.

Apparently, synchronicity is on our side, as we ended up reviewing all of the issues that appeared in the Major Spoilers Poll of the week.
There are still plenty of Trolls on the Intardwebz, and they have their sites set on you — the jerk wads.
Did I mention we had a crap load of reviews this week?
Still no sign of a new Hero History. And there’s a story behind that one, I’m sure. Still best to get caught up on the archives, as you never know what will happen next.
Major Spoilers’ own Dante gets a moment in the spotlight, and a possible book if readers are interested.
The Matthew Challenge deadline is looming, and there’s still a chance for the Major Spoilers Legion to enter and win.
Thor is confirmed, while Jonah Hex pics appear, yet the news is dwarfed by the number of movie remakes in the works.
Moving a website to a new server is never a fun experience.

What is in store for us this week? We can’t wait to find out.

Did Matthew just kill another scanner? Or is this related to his computer’s problems w/the podcast where it can only do one thing at a time before it explodes?
