From the previews it seems both Achilles and Genocide will bite the dust by the end of Rise of the Olympian arc, I can totaly see Achilles giving his life to defeat Genocide in protection of Diana.

Bet taken. If she does, I’ll be very disappointed in Gail Simone. However, if HE falls in love with HER, it’d be kinda awesome. Especially if she punches him right in his face.

Actualllyyyy…. I saw “The Shield” in the last Black/Arrow (that’s Black Canary & Green Arrow), running around at street level solving problems. I dunno which came first, because I don’t always get my hands on things when they’re brand new & fresh, so…. This _could_ be the second appearance, but I totally don’t blame people for not reading Black/Arrow. Avengers was good, but I don’t think I need to go over the highlights since y’all have already. The Wonder Woman story is…. well…. Yeah. The JSA seemed to have one of those “new action movie” vibes where, like, you start the movie RIGHT in the middle of the story, and then deal out bits of exposition strategically. The JLA _story_ is kinda poo, but I like the emphasis on “NOT the Trinity.” I know the “original” JLA featured them heavily, but now those people have 152923 comic books of their own to appear in.

Oh, and I’m TOTALLY glad I gave up on “Run”. Ick. Interestingly enough, “Final Crisis: Ink” wasn’t half-bad, in my very humble opinion. One out of four ain’t bad, two if you liked “Dance”. :)

So yeah Sue is striking some funny poses (Check out the M Avengers issue we were talking about) also i should clarify the Sue thing is not a complaint ;)

Yup and the commentary by Amadeus and reactions by Torch and Stature were really great.
Not that the exchange itself wasnt hillarious… I especially loved the “oh snap” moment.

Mighty Avengers was good (and if not for the Rulk bit at the end I would have said great) I just loved the “my brain is bigger then yours” exchange between Hank and Reed.

My guess is that Hal will have his hand restored thanks to either regaining the Blue Ring or the Indigo Tribe showing up and healing him.
